YRCA
At St. Francis our Learning Commons participates in the Young Reader's Choice Awards. Mrs. Turgeon and Miss. Henry do booktalks and promote the nominees for the awards. There are multiple copies of each title available for students to check out. Voting happens in April/May and the winner is announced in mid-May, to qualify to vote students need to have read at least one book. It is an ongoing and project that enables us to focus on a few titles each year that are good quality books.
