Lego Challenge

The Lego Challenge is one of the earliest activities that I did when I started introducing makerspace to our schools.  I put on sessions during our flex time at our school for us that means Tues and Thurs morning there is a 35min block that I would put on an activity.  Lego was my first one and it was so much fun! For the stations I put our the Lego challenge cards to give them inspiration to build something fun, of course there was lots of free play as well.  Lego is a hit with every age group!  If you a starting your own makerspace, Lego is definitely worth the investment.  You can get it through scholastic which means that you can use your book fair money to purchase it.  Winning!
