Bloxels

This is a cool product that allows you to create your own video game. You can then play and share the game that you build. The different coloured Bloxels make different game elements like terrain or rewards.

This was very well received by the kids, although they did have trouble following the directions to work through the tutorials to understand how the Bloxels work.  (insert eye roll!)  They became frustrated when they could not get it to work but if they worked through the tutorial it worked really well.  Once you have figured out how the program works you are able to code the video game without the blocks.  Lots of fun and the possibilities are endless.
