Button Maker

The button maker was a purchase that I resisted.  I did not think that the students would be interested in making buttons and they would think that it was cheesy and roll their eyes.  Little did I know apparently!  When we did our second round of Makerspace in May of last school year it was definitely one of the most popular stations.  Who knew?!?

We have used the Button Maker for some really good causes as well.  We made some Humboldt strong buttons to wear in support of the Humboldt tragedy, the staff all wore buttons in honour of Mental Health week and this week in our school is literacy week and all of the staff are wearing buttons with quotes that honour literacy.  It has been a great purchase!
