Catapult Challenge

This station was lots of fun for the students.  They got supplies which consisted of popsicle sticks, elastics and plastic spoons to construct a catapult.  On the trifold board are pictures of a number of different designs of catapults and they got to choose what they wanted to do.  After they were done, we gave them a marshmallow to test how far, how high and the speed which they could shoot their marshmallow.  Very accessible for the kids and lots of kids want to shoot marshmallows.  A successful station that will make an appearance again!
