Sphero Mini Golf

A couple of our teachers, Michelle Frunchak and Rob Melenchuk created two holes for a mini golf course to use with our spheros.  We have held a lunch time club where students worked at being able to program their spheros to move through the golf hole by programming their path.  During our makerspace stations students were allowed to drive their sphero through the course and time each other's speed.

We did do the stations again in May of 2018.  We added a number of new stations with new activities.  When we did this for the second time around, we purchased new spheros for the school.  We had borrowed from our head office for our first go around.  What we found out after we purchased the sphero's is that we needed a newer iPad to be able to run the spheros.  This left us scrambling a bit to borrow iPads to use for our stations in May!  Live and Learn!
